Begin with your enquiry
Tell the international team what you would like help with, your current location and your preferred language. Ask which records are needed and how to submit them. The first step is to establish the question for review and identify the appropriate next contact.
Review the proposed care
If further assessment is appropriate, ask the team to explain the proposed consultation or investigation pathway, likely stages and estimated charges. Clinical recommendations may change after an examination or additional tests. Clarify what is provisional and what has been confirmed before deciding how to proceed.
Coordinate your visit
Once appointments and necessary arrangements are confirmed, discuss documents, travel timing, language support and accommodation needs. Keep written details of the plan and contact points. Before returning home, ask for a care summary and an agreed follow-up plan to share with your local clinician.
