Prepare your connection
If a video visit is arranged, confirm the approved platform, local appointment time and connection instructions. Choose a quiet private place, test your camera and microphone, and keep a telephone available in case the connection fails. Arrange any interpreter or support-person participation with the team beforehand.
Prepare for the discussion
Have your medicine list, questions and any reports requested by the clinician ready. Use the submission method agreed with the team for records. At the end, clarify the written plan, how any prescriptions or investigations will be handled, and whether a further appointment is required.
