Pain Management
Build a clearer picture of your pain and its effect on daily life, then discuss assessment and management options that fit your condition and priorities.
Request a pain assessment enquiry
Describe more than the pain score
Record where the pain is, how it feels, when it occurs and what changes it. Explain its effect on sleep, movement, work and mood. A brief diary and a history of injuries or operations can help the clinician understand patterns and possible contributors.
Review the approaches already tried
List medicines, physical therapy, injections and other treatments, including their benefits and side effects. Persistent pain can require a combination of approaches rather than a single intervention. Ask which options are relevant to your diagnosis and how treatment goals will be agreed and reviewed.
Prepare for a safe review
Bring your medication list, allergies and previous imaging or specialist reports. Do not change or abruptly stop prescribed pain medicines without advice. New severe pain, pain with significant weakness or other concerning changes may need prompt local assessment before a routine enquiry.
