Medical History before Admission:

Treatment Details at Beijing Puhua International Hospital:

Radio-Frequency Ablation (RFA):

  • Two procedures performed on September 15 and 29, 20XX respectively.
  • Each procedure involved ablating two liver lesions using multi-electrode needles heated to 90°C for varying durations (10-15 minutes).
  • Local injections of interleukin-2 (1,000,000 IU) and GM-CSF (150 µg) were administered post-procedure.

Systemic Chemotherapy:

  • Capecitabine 825-1000mg/m² Bid, D1-14

Immunotherapy & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM):

  • Cytokine-Induced Killer Cells (CIK cells) therapy administered twice during admission
  • Acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy to enhance energy, decrease toxicity, and improve general status

Medical Condition after Treatment:

Upon discharge, Mr. Agreda's physical condition showed continued improvement with no discomfort experienced throughout his treatment. Post-RFA treatments resulted in approximately 80% tumor load necrosis, which would gradually absorb over time. Optimal response evaluation via repeat CT or PET-CT scan recommended around one month post-treatment.

Post-Operative:

Mr. and Mrs. Agreda expressed high satisfaction with the cancer treatment and services provided at Beijing Puhua International Hospital. Mr. Agreda willingly shared his treatment experiences to benefit prospective patients.
