Omar Fernandez, a 35-year-old male from Venezuela, was admitted to Puhua International Hospital (PIH) in Beijing due to "Motion disorder in four limbs and aphasia following a traffic accident and subsequent surgery." He suffered a severe brain trauma after a road traffic accident on March 23, 2000.
